Cycling Challenge Team Manager

The Boys and Girls Club of Central Virginia is looking for an experienced cyclist to become a part time manager of the Boys and Girls Club Cycling Challenge Team.
Must be capable of motivating and training ten to fifteen club members ages 13 to 17 between March 1 and September 30th, 2010 to ride the 62 mile cycling challenge.
Duties include recruiting, motivating, educating, and training so that each club member meets or exceeds agreed upon mileage and safety goals. Many of the club members, ages 13 to 17, will have limited experience.
Clear driver’s license required so that the candidate can drive the Club 14 passenger bus to pick up and deliver members to the rides. Some basic bike mechanical skills preferred.
Approximately 15 hours per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 PM till 8 PM, Saturdays from 7 AM till 1 PM. Compensation is negotiable based on needs and capabilities.
