2011 Youth of the Year: Shania
Shania is the Boys & Girls Club of Central Virginia's 2011 Youth of the Year! She competed in the Virginia YOY competition in Richmond finishing 2nd place! Shania's inspirational story of her personal struggles and triumphs, and the positive impact the Madison Boys & Girls Club has had on her life has left a lasting impression on everyone that has been lucky enough to meet her. We are all so proud of Shania's accomplishments!
Special Events
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Virginia have five annual fundraising events each year that account for up to 20% of the Club's operating budgets. We hope you will consider joining us at one of our events as they truly are unique and inspiring, and you are sure to have a great time! Please join us on February 11th for our annual BIG GIG Gala and Auction, on March 4th for Five Chefs in the Vineyard benefiting our Orange Club, on May 5th for the Madison Night at the Derby, and on June 9th for the 10th annual Orange Summer Gala.
